Friday, 24 November 2017 - 3.00pm
Location:
Faculty of Law, G26 (The Slaughter and May Room)

The second 2017 Michaelmas Term session of the monthly seminar run by the Cambridge Forum for Legal & Political Philosophy will take place on Friday, November 24th, at 3:00pm, in Room G26 of the Law Faculty Building.

The session will be chaired by John Adenitire, who is currently a PhD student in the Law Faculty.  For the reading, he has chosen the opening chapter of Ronald Dworkin's book "Religion without God."  On the one hand, given the usual 30-page limit on length, participants in the seminar are fully entitled to read no further than page 31 of the chapter.  On the other hand, because Dworkin's book is published on small pages in a large font, the 44-page chapter as a whole contains fewer words than any typical 30-page journal article.  A PDF file of the chapter is available online.
