To mark the 2007 centenary of the birth of H.L.A. Hart, the Cambridge Forum for Legal & Political Philosophy (CFLPP) hosted a major international conference on "The Legacy of H.L.A. Hart: Legal, Political, and Moral Philosophy" on July 27-28, 2007. The conference was generously subsidized by the British Academy, and was a British Academy Symposium. The seven panels of speakers covered the full range of Hart's philosophical thought: legal positivism and general jurisprudence (including the work of Bentham); criminal responsibility and punishment; causation in the law; rights; toleration and the regulation of sexual activities; and justice.

All events in the conference took place at Churchill College, Cambridge, in the UK.
