Welcome
The CFLPP was founded in 1999 as an interdisciplinary discussion/reading group focused on issues of legal and political philosophy. The activities of the CFLPP have expanded, and in 2001 it became a formally recognized research organization affiliated with the University of Cambridge Faculty of Law. It is composed of faculty members and research students from the Faculties of Law, Philosophy, History, and Social & Political Sciences. Its principal purpose is to promote research, discussion, and exchanges on various topics within legal and political philosophy. In furtherance of that purpose, the CFLPP will be undertaking a number of projects, including a major conference every 18-24 months and a public lecture series.
